Don and Sally are a retired couple with four adult children, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Don, with a farming background was an early ski-plane pilot before becoming a commercial airline pilot. Sally was involved in local politics and now enjoys painting with watercolours, skiing, tramping, biking and travelling.
Two queen rooms are available.
One is upstairs with an ensuite and balcony overlooking the garden towards the lake and mountains.
The downstairs bedroom has a shared toilet and private bathroom.
The modern kitchen and dining room were renovated in 2008 and a northfacing sunroom provides a a cosy retreat for breakfasts. Continental, with fresh Central Otago fruit (in season) and cooked breakfasts are offered. |

Features
• Rockwood is situated in a garden setting and is almost surrounded by dry stone walls. It is only a few minutes walk to Lake Wanaka and an easy 45 minute walk to town. |
